What is this layout?
The day is split into 5 blocks, starting at 8, 12, 15, 18, and 21.
Weekly Vertical layouts split the week into seven columns, with time running down each day.
How to use
- Pick the block (morning, noon, after school, evening, night) and write there.
- Skip exact times. Line up chunks of things to do.
- Put breaks and fun into empty blocks first.
The sample picture above shows a middle-schooler's plans: red = tests, due dates and deadlines; green = fun plans; yellow highlighter = the one most important thing. Layouts differ, so each one is written a little differently.
★ Tip
Good if you dislike detailed writing. You can see the flow of the day.
