3-Split Vertical Planner Layout: How to Use and Make It

3-Split Vertical planner refill with a sample entry

What is this layout?

Tai-chan, the Timekeeper Deco mascotEach day is split into 3 columns, so you can write 3 things on one line.
Weekly Vertical layouts split the week into seven columns, with time running down each day.

How to use

  1. In the left column, write "what" (the subject or plan name).
  2. In the middle column, write "where" (classroom, station, park).
  3. In the right column, write "what to bring or do". You forget fewer things.

The sample picture above shows a middle-schooler's plans: red = tests, due dates and deadlines; green = fun plans; yellow highlighter = the one most important thing. Layouts differ, so each one is written a little differently.

★ Tip

One line says it all. Keep each box short (about 3 characters is easy).
