Grid Separate Planner Layout: How to Use and Make It

Grid Separate planner refill with a sample entry

What is this layout?

Tai-chan, the Timekeeper Deco mascotEach day's row is a grid (squares). You can write one letter per square.
Weekly Separate layouts divide the week into boxes, one box per day, so each day stands on its own.

How to use

  1. Writing one letter per square makes your writing look neat.
  2. One plan per line. Tests and due dates in red, fun in green.
  3. In MEMO, use the squares to make a study-time table.

The sample picture above shows a middle-schooler's plans: red = tests, due dates and deadlines; green = fun plans; yellow highlighter = the one most important thing. Layouts differ, so each one is written a little differently.

★ Tip

Make tables and diagrams without drawing lines. Good for a notebook feel.
