What is this notebook?

Tai-chan, the Timekeeper Deco mascotA notebook to record games or life-and-death problems on a Go board diagram.

How to use

  1. Write No. and date, and ✓ problem or real game. For a game, write your opponent too.
  2. On the 19×19 board, write the stones you played in order, with numbers.
  3. When done, write the handicap and win or loss, and replay it later.

Over time

You can see the positions you lose in and your habits in moves.

★ Tip

Rest a bit after a loss, then review. Mark the move where the game changed.

How to use it on our site

  1. Open the top page and choose the "Notebook" tab
  2. Pick the Go Game Notebook design
  3. Press "Sample" to see an example entry and how to use it
  4. Press "Print" to print one sheet free and try it
